Every year Project Homeless Connect hosts an event in the fall that brings together homeless folks and a wide array of service providers from the Twin Ports in one event designed to help ease the process of the social service run-around for those in need. |
Join us for the annual Expressions of Home fundraiser event on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at the Depot from 5pm to 11:30pm.
-Silent Auction (5pm to 7pm). -Hors d'oeuvres. -Displays by Local Artists. -Local music by: Jason Hale, The Crunchy Bunch, & Diet Folk. *$5 for students, $10 General with $1 off with a donation of a non-perishable food item to go to the CHUM Food Shelf. |
In 2011, PHC Served 245 people. 35% were couch surfing, 15% stayed in emergency shelters. 93% were unemployed. 9% identified as Veterans.
PHC offers assistance and information on services including: flu shots, transportation, housing, food access, etc. |
